Group trail rides
Espace Equestre Henson-Marquenterre
• The Discovery day ride
You go for an immersive experience in a unique estate, as big as a ranch by the sea. For beginners, you can choose to improvise a picnic, nested in the forested sandhills, in the middle of a day, after a half-a-day ride plentiful of emotions. Should they want to do so, the advanced riders can decide to go for a long ride along the beach, leading to a hearty meal in a friendly restaurant of Le Crotoy or Fort-Mahon, to taste the wonderful regional food. For sure, a memorable day, made of great rides into the majesty of the Bay.
• The Bivouac
In harmony with nature, the very special pleasure to go for an afternoon ride, followed by a dinner around a wood fire and a night spent in the open. Rocked by the gentle breeze or the remote backwash of the sea, nothing will come and disturb your dreams. After waking up, you will go again for another ride along the beach or in the Bay. Then, you will end up your adventure in the quietness of the tall pines. Great memories will allow you to go back to town with a great supply of nature and conviviality.
• The Two Bays Great ride
Spread across two days, or more if you want, you will depart for the multi-faceted discovery of the Bay of the Somme, the Marquenterre region and the Bay of the Authie. You will enter into the “fourth dimension” of French country living, full of history and natural beauty, which has managed to keep its authenticity.

• The Discovery day ride
Accompanied by an experienced equestrian guide, based on your level of riding skills, you will depart for the “House of the World’s End”, at the very bottom of the Bay of the Authie, in a scenery of sea dykes which are true natural monuments of this small region. Or you can choose to move south, towards the Bay of the Somme and the Domaine du Marquenterre, with their thousands of acres of beaches and forested sand dunes. You will then go for an encounter with the land were the Henson horses are born and continue to expand, with over 200 horses thriving in the surroundings.
• The Bivouac
You depart in the afternoon to come back the following morning. From never-ending beaches to hidden places, you will enjoy a memorable adventure, made of equestrian and human encounters. In the evening, around a wood fire, you will camp in the heart of the Domaine du Marquenterre, an experience which will make you reconnect with nature, as if it were “a first morning on Earth”.
