"L’Espace Equestre « l’Etrier » Fort-Mahon-Plage” wonderfully fits children and teenagers needs for outdoor activities. It is an ideal complement to the sea-side activities, whether for a morning or in the afternoon.
Children can be accompanied by their parents, but they can also stay under the caring attention of our instructors who will make them discover their first emotions as new riders.
• Ponies on hand
When parents want to take their children with them for a discovery trip in the immediately adjacent Bay of the Authie, we offer ponies on hand to hire, for a half-hour or a one-hour ride,. However, we recommend to remain on existing trails, without wandering around in the salted marshes.
Rates: 8€ for half-an-hour and 12€ for one-hour
• Pony riding familiarization and lessons
We offer lessons for beginners or advanced young riders, whether indoor or outdoor (subject to weather conditions) to discover the initial steps of pony riding or to further progress. And it is so nice to take care of your pony mate, talk to him and share secrets with him…

Rates
- annual membership fee: child/teen 50€
- familiarization and initial lesson: 27€ (2-hour lesson)
- monthly package for members: 60€ (4 times-2-hour-a-month)
- monthly package for pony owners: 48€ (4 times-2-hour-a-month)
