The Henson adventure
Would this still be possible that, nowadays, a new horse breed could be created from the desire of freedom? However, it is right here that the history of the Henson horses has begun, a little more than 30 years ago.
A French new horse breed (the 44th!), officially recognized since July 2003 by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Henson horses have become the icon of great outdoor riding.
Henson: n. m. versatile “leisure-oriented” horse, specially gifted for outdoor riding, horse-drawn carriage and equestrian games. Born in Picardy. Native breeding area: Bay of the Somme and Marquenterre region.
