Created by tourism professionals, the “Baie de Somme Zero Carbone” association is a private initiative that aims to preserve this unique territory that is the Bay of the Somme. Indeed, with 2 million visitors a year, the impact of tourism on the destination is very important, both economically and environmentally.<\/p>\n

We are, of course, members of the French Riding Federation and actively participate in the organization of various events and competitions (endurance, horse-ball, pony games, team and polocrosse)<\/p>\n

The Henson-Marquenterre Equestrian Center obtained in 2008 the qualification of Reasoned Agriculture for its breeding and cultural practices. You can find the values of nature protection and sustainable development on the official website FARRE.<\/p>\n

The Henson-Marquenterre Equestrian Center is the privileged partner of the Domaine du Marquenterre, a unique domain of 1000 hectares of wooded dunes, on the edge of the Bay of the Somme and its natural reserve, with which it offers a whole range of activities symbolizing the harmony between Man and Nature.<\/p>\n

We are partners of the commune of Fort-Mahon-Plage, since June 2007, for the management and the development of the Henson Equestrian Center “L’\u00c9trier”, on the edge of the magnificent Bay of the Authie, younger sister of the Bay of the Somme.<\/p>\n

Our “Henson Equestrian Centers” are the subject of a cooperation agreement with Pierre & Vacances to allow us to welcome, in the best conditions, the residents of the eco-village of Belle-Dune, located in the communes Fort-Mahon-Plage and Quend-Plage-les-Pins.<\/p>\n

The Henson-Marquenterre Equestrian Center is manager of 73 hectares in the Marquenterre Park (property of the Conservatoire du Littoral drived by the Syndicat Mixte Bay of Somme-Grand Littoral Picard), which constitute the summer meadows of the breeding Henson, in symbiosis with wild avifauna.<\/p>\n
