The Espace Équestre Henson – Pays de Fontainebleau offers two different day hikes.
The day “between forest and dunes” allows you to escape and go deep into the forest until you reach the sand dunes of Achères la Forêt before joining the Franchard gorges.
The day “between rock and water” crosses the forest near Barbizon to finally end up at the Mare aux Evées towards Chailly-en-Bière.
Lunch included.
These hikes are accessible to riders comfortable with 3 paces but other hikes can be organized on request for beginners.

Throughout the year, enjoy the incredible, diverse and varied landscapes of the Forest of Fontainebleau for a 100% equestrian hike.
The day “between forest and dunes” takes you through the forest of Fontainebleau, enjoying its dizzying views, until arriving, after lunch, in a hill of sand lost in the forest on the outskirts of ‘Acheres the Forest. The return will be at the foot of the Gorges de Franchard before joining the stables.
The day “between rock and water” begins with a visit to the viewpoints of the Apremont gorges before reaching the Mare aux Evées and its incredible old oil well. On the return, a last point of view will allow you to keep a perrin memory of the reliefs of the Forest of Fontainebleau.
The two days begin at 10 a.m. with the preparation of the horses. Lunch will be brought directly to our stopping area. The return will be around 5:30-6:00 p.m. before sharing a last snack to discuss the day.
