June 18th-22nd 2018, around the summer solstice, the “Henson Outdoor Riding Centres” offer an outstanding 5-day trail ride, designed as a slow voyage in space and time at the encounter of one of the most beautiful seaside landscapes of the Hauts-de-France and of the passionate history of Ponthieu, a so long time shared (and disputed !…) county between France and England.

Bay of the Somme – Crécy National Forest – Valloires Abbey – Montreuil and its walls – Le Touquet Equestrian Park – Berck and the Bay of the Authie river – Marquenterre : all aspects of this superb country, its beaches, estuaries, forests, famous monuments, hills and rivers will be told to you at the pace of your horse, in a warm ambiance which will lead you along magical steps, in privileged sites, some of them especially opened for you.

This trail ride is designed for experienced riders, while ensuring an harmonious balance between sport, well-being and discovery. At the end of each stage, at day’s end, the accommodation is comfortable, the food is a feast and, during the day, quality time is spent with passionate people about their region, its culture and traditions.
