Saint-Quentin-en-Tourmont, heart of Marquenterre … Torchlight procession for the celebration of July 14th!

On the evening of July 13, the traditional “torchlight procession” took place in the streets of the village, in the presence of the Hensons and their riders, the children and the inhabitants of the village wearing the lanterns, as well as our summer friends. numerous to witness the fireworks closing the cavalcade and the procession.

May all be thanked here for the organization (Town Hall of Saint-Quentin-en-Tourmont, festival committee) and for a large participation, which perpetuates the tradition, full of joy of life and good humor.

It should be recalled that Saint-Quentin-en-Tourmont (300 inhabitants), which counts on its territory the “rare pearls” of the Marquenterre Bird Park and the Domain of the Marquenterre, is also the main cradle of the Henson horses. The town has 14 km of beaches, with no road access to the sea and borders the immense nature reserve of the Bay of Somme. The paradise for walkers and riders, the land between land and sea …
