The special offer “Bivouac Escape” is a horseback ride organized by the Henson Equestrian Centers for 2 days (departure at 14h on the August, 11th and return at 12h the following day) for a group on a pre-established date, to gather individuals and / or smaller groups.
This hike allows to discover the immense natural reserve of the Bay of Somme and the thousand hectares of the Domain of the Marquenterre, consisting of superb wooded dunes and bordering the Ornithological Park of Marquenterre. It is suitable for all levels, in separate groups, for advanced riders or for riders with little or no riding.
A guide-guide is present permanently to make you live exceptional moments. It will lead you to meet the wilderness in the Somme Bay and you will discover the cradle of the breed of Henson horses, born here almost 40 years ago and today officially recognized as the 44th French equine race. A surefooted horse, with a beautiful isabelle dress and black and gold horsehair, the Henson is one of the best outdoor riding horses, a nature passer-by par excellence in the Bay of Somme.
After a first stroll in the afternoon, you arrive at our bivouac by discovering a unique place in the heart of silence. Your horses deserted, you will take advantage of your tents already assembled to install your business (transported by us), then you will find yourself near the wood fire to taste the wonderful products of the soil which will be prepared for you an authentic local culinary experience.
After the meal, you can exchange your impressions around the fire in a friendly atmosphere and then recharge your batteries at night under comfortable cotton tents.
The next morning, after having your breakfast, you will recover your horses to prepare them and leave for new equestrian adventures until the end of the morning.
