The dream of an “Henson-Chantilly Equestrian Center” dates from 2004, at the time of the conduct of the Polo World Championships in Apremont, but it will take 10 years, combined with the growth and maturity of the other “Henson Equestrian Centers”, to the benevolent welcome of the Institut de France, the City of Chantilly and the Domain of Chantilly Foundation, to make this dream come true.

Today, Henson – Chantilly has been enriched by a new jewel! By forming a partnership with the Domain of Chantilly Polo Club – La Ferme d’Apremont, it also allows its riders to access the magical world of the most beautiful set of polo fields in Europe, close to Paris and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport.

And he thus became: “Henson-Chantilly-Apremont”!

“Henson-Chantilly-Apremont” combines two privileges: that of taking you through the city and its monuments, even into the prestigious Castle of Chantilly’s park for an exclusive equestrian walk or to make you discover, in the very heart of the grounds of honor and polo training, the most fascinating of all equestrian sports in its unique forest setting. And of course, you can combine the two in “a princely day” or come to discover one after the other, each of these magical experiences!

The Henson horses are waiting for you either at “The Manse Workshop”, in the heart of the city, or at “The farm of Apremont” for one or other of our exceptional equestrian experiences. But for you, it’s simple: just specify your wish at the time of booking at a single point of contact or contact.

With the Henson horses and our passionate guides, we give you the key to an equestrian paradise half an hour from Paris (by train), to ride exclusively in some of the most magical places for a rider : the prestigious Castle of Chantilly’s park, on the one hand and the sublime courses of the Polo Club of the Farm of Apremont, on the other hand! Both less than 3 kilometers from each other as the crow flies and the rhythm of your horse!

Bivouac Escape to Chantilly

May 11 and 12, 2019 - The bivouac escape is a horseback ride organized by the Henson Equestrian Spaces for 2 days (departure at 2 pm on the first day and return at 12 pm the following day). This hike, adapted to all levels, will allow you to discover on horseback the city of Chantilly and its monuments. You will also enjoy an exclusive walk in the Château de Chantilly Park and discover the prestigious facilities of the Polo Club Apremont. After a first stroll in the afternoon, you arrive at our bivouac and draw your horses. Discovering the hidden treasure of Chantilly

Created by Yves and Annabel Bienaimé, the founders of the Musée Vivant du Cheval, the Potager des Princes, its symphony of 25 gardens, its collections of animals and its delightful romantic theater of the Faisanderie, a stone's throw from the Grandes Écuries, constitute the one of the most remarkable places in Chantilly.

Established on the 3 hectares of the old pheasantry of the Grand Condé, half-garden of harmony and half-animal park devoted to domestic and ornamental species, it overlooks the Prairie Saint-Jean where Henson horses graze at rest. It perfectly embodies the spirit of Chantilly, made of architectural and landscape elegance and celebration of nature for five centuries. It also houses the "Jacqueline de Pannafieu" painting museum (1903-1981) which testifies to the integral development of her work through the exhibition of 600 paintings and sculptures.

Henson Horse Pension

Give your Henson a place in the princely horse town...

Our purpose is to share with you the Henson Adventure par excellence...

We therefore only accept Henson horses, born at home or not, and with full papers. The horses live the “real life of the Hensons” there!

That is to say outdoors all year round, in the meadow or in the winter park depending on the season and in groups of affinities. This explains their calm and their good form, because they can evolve with all the necessary space and are comfortable in a natural hierarchy resulting from their group life. All the horses are boarded there as “au pairs”, with, of course, riding priority given to the owner upon reservation in advance (24 hours). Our boarding conditions are identical to those of all 'Espaces Equestres Henson'. The maintenance of the horses is therefore carried out in conditions as natural as possible.
