Roaming is one of the great ways of tourism of tomorrow…. It suffices, to be convinced of this, to note the major success of the Chemins de Compostelle or, for horseback riders, the evocative power of the Route d’Artagnan. Everyone starts to walk, on foot, by bike, on horseback, along gentle links that are constantly multiplying in all territories and throughout Europe.
In this changing world, “leaving” no longer simply means traveling to a more or less exotic elsewhere, but “leaving… to better find oneself”. In our post-modern societies, in fact, “to have” is no longer the first goal in itself, because we are most often saturated with consumer products. “Being” becomes essential and “being” means above all “finding oneself”: oneself and together, according to the double meaning of the word.
