Your experiential journey includes: guide, horses, assistance, meals and accommodation on a route of approximately 25km per day, comfortable and invigorating. Riders who know how to control their horse at all 3 gaits.

“Lilies & Leopards” – In the rhythm of the Henson horses
Set off on horseback to discover the Baie de Somme and its foreland: a gentle and immersive 4-day adventure combining nature, culture and encounters.
Day 1 – Landscapes and abbeys
Welcome of the riders and first ride through the hills of Ponthieu. Visit of Valloires Abbey and its famous gardens. Friendly dinner and overnight stay in charming accommodation.
Day 2 – Forests, orchards and castles
Ride through bocage landscapes and typical villages. Visit to the Moismont orchards and meeting with passionate producers. Continue towards the Regnière-Écluse estate, with its woods and romantic castle. Dinner and overnight stay in a typical village.
Day 3 – War in the Middle Ages
By late morning, arrival at the historic site of the Battle of Crécy (August 1346), where the French chivalry of King Philip VI was defeated by the English archers of King Edward III. The French lilies gave way to the English leopards. After lunch and a visit to the historical centre, the ride continues into the 4,000-hectare state forest before reaching the evening’s village.
Day 4 – Dunes, beach and the Bay of Somme
Highlight of the journey: crossing the dunes and arriving on the beach facing the sea. Unforgettable gallops in the Baie de Somme, a Grand Site of France and UNESCO World Heritage site. Final shared moment to close the trip.
